The winner of the 2020 UEFA European Championship will be determined through a penalty.

This is as the first and second periods of extra time in the game between England and Italy ended 1-1.

In the 100th minute of the game, Jack Grealish replaces Mason Mount.

A few minutes into the second period, the first England booking is issued to Maguire for a tired, clumsy lunge on Belotti.

In the 113th minute, Jorginho and Grealish go in fully committed for a 50-50 in the middle of the park, and England forward comes off second best, with Jorginho stamping on the ball and then onto the thigh of Grealish. The Chelsea midfielder got a yellow.

The game went into extra time in Sunday’s Euro 2020 final following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes at Wembley.

Luke Shaw scored inside two minutes, the fastest ever goal in a European Championship final, but Leonardo Bonucci bundled in an equaliser at a corner midway through the second half.

England are attempting to win their first trophy since the 1966 World Cup, while Italy won their only European title in 1968.
